Returns

Three Ducks on a Roof will never knowingly ship a defective product. That being said mistakes happen and we ask that you contact us immediately should there be a problem with your order when it arrives. We also want you to be happy with your order and will take back purchases without a restocking fee but ask that you pay the shipping cost to return it. You then will be issued a refund for the product's price when the product returns to Three Ducks.

There are some conditions, however, to the above and these are explained below:

Fabric

To ensure the fabric is the colour you want, we ask that you follow the "webpage" link below each fabric swatch before you place your order. The link will take you to the main website where the featured fabric has been compared to two colour wheels and those values are listed beside the fabric. The "JW" stands for Joen Wolfrom and her 3-in 1 Colour Tool. The "RCS" stands for Collins' Rainbow Colour Selector. A full explanation can be found if you click the "Fabrics" tab on the Three Ducks website. Monitors display colours in different ways and we hope this will help overcome the discrepancies. If you are still unsure, please contact Three Ducks.

Plaid Fabric will be cut width wise with scissors using the pattern itself as the guide. You will never receive plaids cut off pattern with a rotary cutter from Three Ducks. We have had this happen to us in the past and vowed we would never do this to any of our customers.

Notions

These items can be returned only if the packaging is intact unless you found the product defective upon opening it.

Software

Unopened software in resalable condition may be returned to Three Ducks for the purchase price.

If the software or enclosed manual is defective, The Electric Quilt Company asks that you contact their Customer Service at 1-800-356-4219 or customerservice@electricquilt.com, and they will arrange to replace it for you.

As well, if you have problems installing or running your software, contact the Electric Quilt Company's Technical Support at 1-419-352-1134 or techsupport@electricquilt.com.

Again, we ask that you contact Three Ducks before taking action so we are prepared for a product's return and the reasons for that return. We will then contact you to discuss how you wish to be reimbursed.

Shipping

The Three Ducks Shopping Cart is directly connected to Canada Post's server. What this means is that the prices you see on the shipping page at checkout are the true reflection of what is costs to ship your order parcel post based on its weight and dimensions. (Yes, this means we have had to weigh and measure every item listed in the cart!)

Canadian Orders:

Canadian orders will be offered two shipping options depending on your locale: Expedited Parcel or Xpresspost. Three Ducks is a Venture One customer with Canada Post and therefore gets Expedited Delivery at the Regular Parcel Post rate which is why the latter option is not offered.

Important Note for Canadian Shoppers:

It is Canada Post’s decision to configure only ‘parcel post’ delivery for online retailers using the CP shipping module and there is no means for retailers to modify this. However, there are many items in this shopping cart that can be sent as either lettermail or oversize lettermail (some notions, patterns, small cuts of fabric and some of the software packages). Three Ducks is committed to sending your orders in the most economical manner possible and will refund any extra parcel post delivery costs through PayPal when it can do so.

American Orders:

Our USA customers have five possible shipping options to choose from depending on weight and dimensions, how much you wish to pay, and how long you are willing to wait for your order. These options may include: Small Packets Surface, Small Packets Air, Expedited US Commercial, Xpresspost USA, *Purolator International.

Overseas Orders:

Our overseas customers have the most choice when it comes to delivery and, again, these options depend on the order's size and dimensions, how much you wish to pay and how long you wish to wait for your order. These options may include: Small Packet Surface, Small Packet Air, Surface Parcel, Air Parcel, Xpresspost International and *Purolator International.

* Please note: Purolator is a courier and, therefore, a broker fee is built into its price. Also, it is important to note that Purolator will only deliver to a home or business address and not to a P.O. Box number.

All Orders:

Three Ducks will always send your orders in the most economical fashion possible. If there is a cheaper means other than that offered through our direct connection to Canada Post, we will refund the difference through PayPal. That is our promise!

Insurance:

All orders valued at $30 and above will be insured and this will be included in the price. Expedited delivery automatically insures up to $100 and orders valued above this will have additional insurance added on and included in the price.
